Based in High Point, North Carolina, Joya Sleep Systems by Garme, is the North American division of Garme Colchones of Valencia, Spain, which is one of the largest bedding manufacturers in Europe.
Founded by Jose Luis Garcia in 1984, Garme Colchones remains a family-owned business. Sonia Garcia, daughter of the founder, oversees Joya’s U.S. operations.
Joya Sleep Systems is a luxury visco memory foam-bedding manufacturer with a mission to maintain the same level of high standards and quality that built the success of Garme Colchones in Europe.

Research
Every “body” is different, and we have been on the forefront of studying the body
when it rests.
Through our state-of-the-art technology, we study pressure points, spinal alignment, body weight, contours and other crucial elements to create sleep systems that provide luxurious comfort, while at the same time, provide the necessary support that every “body” requires.
In our commitment to conducting progressive research, we have developed our own PureForm™ visco memory foam that is unique to our products. It is this European technology, as well as our commitment to the highest quality control standards, including ISO-9001, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and Aidima, that positions us as a leader of the
bedding industry.
Production
When it comes to producing Joya Sleep Systems, we spare no expense in materials or production methods.
We purchase the finest raw materials available from accredited suppliers that are certified from independent laboratories.
All production of Joya Sleep Systems occurs in our “GREEN” room, which is a totally sterile environment. And, most importantly, Garme Colchones follows and meets the production requirements of the
Oeko-Tex 100 Standards.
Oeko-Tex test programs include over 100 individual tests that identify harmful materials and chemicals that are banned or regulated by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
